Why This Blog?

First of all, thank you so much for being here.

I wanted to take a minute to explain why I started this blog.

When I read the book The Five Love Languages, by Gary Chapman, I knew right away that Words of Encouragement was my love language. Encouraging and sharing with others is something I really take joy in.

So, I wanted to find a place to share the things I am discovering and loving about life.

Since I’m a pretty easy going gal, there are just a couple things I need to be happy:

Good food, the ability to be active and exercise, and Jesus Christ.

That being said, I am continuously learning new things every single day about these topics. When I learn something I love, I want to share it. But it’s not easy to know when and how to share things you learn with others, especially if they don’t care to be shared with!

So I thought a blog would be the best place to start. Anybody can come and take what they want to know and learn, and leave things they don’t want or things they disagree with.

I by no means claim to be an expert on anything, nor do I think everybody is the same and finds joy in the same things!

But if anything I learn and share can be an encouragement to you, I would be so happy!

Thank you again for being here and I hope that at least one small thought or idea shared here can be a blessing to you.
